Fundraising for brighterway
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Brighterway are the charity for Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. Their aim is to support recovery and enable people to lead a brighter lift through the use of fundraising and grant making for projects, helping their overall quality of life, wellbeing and independence.
Here to be a helping hand to the community, they provide that extra bit of support for projects that the NHS aren't able to fund. With every penny you donate, you are giving people the chance to get more out of life.
As a colleague at Southern Health, I find the funds raised by Brighterway vital to our patients and staff alike. For example:
- £5 could supply the Specialist Palliative Care team with bereavement cards.
- £10 could supply an inpatient unit with arts and crafts.
- £50 could buy household items for staff rest and recharge rooms.
I am doing this abseil on my birthday, with donations requested to Brighterway, instead of receiving gifts. Not only does this raise essential funds for Brighterday, it also means I don't have to make a decision about what I'd like for my birthday! Any and all donations will be gratefully received.
