Story
In memory of John Anthony Murray who left us aged 70, after a brief period of illness caused by pancreatic cancer.
John was an adventurer, and lived a life traveling the world with his beloved wife of over 42 years, Cilla. The two were still very much in love, holding hands as they visited new "cha chaan tengs"/old school canteens across Hong Kong together. He made great friends in the UK, Caribbean, US, Hong Kong, Brunei, and everywhere he went.
John could often be seen on a dance floor getting the party started, or making an address to the haggis and sharing his Scottish roots with friends. He was so loved and looked up to by his two daughters Fiona and Melissa, who although are grown up now, will always be daddy's girls. He was also his grandson Felix' favourite person - able to calm his cries as a baby and hold long babbling conversations.
Despite regular health check ups, detection came at a late stage - as is predominantly the case with Pancreatic cancer. We welcome your donations to fund research into the early detection and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
John was a great man who will be missed by so many across the world.
