Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Very sadly my Dad, John Flake, was hospitalised with COVID-19 at the beginning of January and despite fighting hard was transferred to the ICU after 2 weeks.  Although the NHS doctors and nurses were under huge strain, Dad received amazing care and my family and I cannot thank them enough.  We were updated daily and always felt very confident everything was being done for Dad.  I was particularly grateful to his consultant who allowed me to visit him and be with him at the end of his life.

We would therefore like to raise money for the ICU in Dad's memory to thank them for all their dedication and kindness.
