"I've committed to go to Italy and again, as over the last couple of years, haul myself over the Dolomites on a bike..for 280+ kms over three days!.

This is in the hope that I can raise money for a superb cause...I'm delighted & proud to be riding in support of The Samaritans who do some incredible work supporting people that are not as fortunate as me or the many lovely people I know.

The Samaritans is a charity supported wholly by volunteers and is completely self-funded (no Government aid!). The Samaritans makes a significant difference to many peoples lives helping them survive through extremely difficult problems & desperate situations.

For example, every day around 16 people decide to end their own life & the Samaritans provide support 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.  Your support means that volunteers can be trained to support people who are struggling to cope, improve phone & email services so people can get help straight away, when it truly matters & keep branches open round the clock. Your donation will help to develop new projects that reach out to people who might not otherwise contact the Samaritans.
