Shooting Star Chase is a leading children's hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.  They say this of their work:  "Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count."

Seeking to make my own moments count, I entered to compete in three half marathons in successive weeks from 21 September 2014.  Shooting Star Chase then gave me the opportunity to be part of their fundraising team and compete in the Royal Parks Half Marathon to make it four HMs in four successive weeks.

This is a big test for me and I hope that, in stepping up to the challenge I've set myself, I inspire donations for Shooting Star Chase that will help them to make more moments count.
