Story
The Galloway Conservation Centre is relying on your support to ensure that our animals needs are met in this current climate.
We know that this is a very difficult time for everyone, but we cannot tell you enough how much your donations mean to us and our animals, our long term future and species survival.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of small British charities, which is going to make it very challenging for them to survive. The Galloway Wildlife Conservation Trust is one of these charities.
The volunteers at the centre cannot simply lock the doors and stay at home. The centre is home to almost 40 animals who need round the clock heating, food and care. Before the pandemic, the centre relied on food donations from supermarkets as well as purchasing food off the shelf. In the current climate, food is now scare and the donations have dried up.
The centre is home to a range of fascinating species and by supporting us you are contributing directly to the welfare and care of them.
Thank you for taking the time to read and visit this page and your ongoing support is appreciated by both animals and the dedicated volunteers.
All the best,
The Galloway Conservation Centre team
