We support those who are homeless to secure and maintain accommodation

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When I step outside in a morning to go to work, especially in the winter when it’s bitterly cold and raining, I feel so lucky I’ve not been outside all night.

Some people have.

I speak to people in Lancaster sat in doorways and they tell me about having their sleeping bag stolen or their tent burnt down with all their possessions inside.

Life can be so cruel and unfair, so I want to do what I can to help the Lancaster homeless shelter support these people.

I’m taking part in 75 Hard which is a mental and physical challenge/ programme. . Over the next 75 days I will be doing the following: 2x workouts per day, one that must be outside whatever the weather, drink 1 gallon of water, pick a diet and stick to it, no cheat meals or alcohol, read 10 pages of a personal development/ non fiction book, and take a progress picture every day. I’ll be walking/ jogging,  lifting weights, and cycling. It sounds straightforward and doable.

I know it’s not as I’ve failed it 4 times in the last 12 days. If you fail at any point you go back to the beginning.

There’s no one to check up on you, just an app to check your progress. It’s all done on integrity and honor, holding yourself accountable.
