Thames Path Challenge 2016 · 10 September 2016 ·

We fund research to make pregnancy and birth safe for all

Story

Sitting down one lunchtime with a few work colleagues, we were discussing what feats we would like to achieve which included trekking through the Amazon, walking the great wall of China & climbing mt Kilimanjaro.

Upon Tom putting down his knife & fork (rare), grabbing his phone & looking at some events, the next best thing to the Amazon cropped up, the Thames Path challenge & so be it, the 100km walking "dream team" were formed!

The team will be walking 100km within a 24 hour time frame from Putney Bridge, to Henley upon Thames in Oxfordshire on the 10th September 2016.

Additionally, we all wished to do this for a cause rather than just self-achievement and chose Tommy's, something thats connected to each and every one of us at some stage in our lives.

A statement from Tommy's website:

"We fund research into pregnancy problems and provide pregnancy health information to parents. We believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth."

Please donate as much as you can for this truly worthwhile cause as there is still a huge amount of research to go until pregnancy & birth losses are at fraction of what we are seeing right now.

Thank you so much and leave your name for a big thanks from myself & expect a few pics on social media along our journey...

Joel :)
