I would just like to write a few words to encourage and ultimately thank everyone who finds themselves on this page and has or is about to donate so I can raise much needed monies for an excellent charity that stood by George and ourselves at a much needed time.

What I'm setting out to do is run the London Marathon.

It is with great strength, love and commitment to my brother and the understanding that to give back with love , dedication and sheer determination to cross the finishing line with George in mind will be beneficial to a charity that does so much for so many young people affected by this terrible disease.

When the inconceivable happened and we reached out for help, I can honestly say that Clic Sargent understood, knew what was needed and encouraged and supported everything George asked of them. When we 'discovered' Clic Sargent , George just wanted help and advice just as any other 22 year old on things such as work, career, avenues of opportunities and how to manage his diagnosis . Clic Sargent helped all they could and brought with them positivity in finding a way ahead. We were not to know that a few months later the tumour would return but for those intervening months Clic sargent made such a difference .

Last September once again they helped by providing a few days away to Scotland. George always said he wanted to visit the mountains again that he once went to with myself on a scouting holiday to Switzerland. That short trip that was oh so recent and will be an everlasting memory bathed in joy.

We will be united with our immense love, huge respect and wonderful memories of George who himself ran throughout the whole of his diagnosis , running brought George much solace through many difficult days and I know George would have loved to have run the marathon.
