Story
My name is Joe Bangles and I am a cheese fiend!
I consume between 3-4kg of cheese per week and genuinely can't remember the last day I went without it. I often have cheese for breakfast, lunch and dinner and would day it is one of the most important things in my life!
Through my passion for consuming the good stuff, I was asked to become an ambassador for Love Cheese Live which is a two day food event in Staffordshire. During this event it become clear that I wanted to do something to help a local charity.
With a platform on twitter, it was important to me to try and give something back from my cheesy antics and found the Alice Charity! They are a small team of wonderfully dedicated people who have helped thousands of children and families who are under supported and disadvantaged. Their work is fantastic, helping vulnerable families throughout Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle Under Lyme.
Last year alone, they helped 2489 families and helped feed over 4000 children and 2000 adults on top of giving vital support to people in need, from new mothers to helping families who need help for school uniform, school equipment and much more.
For the next 60 days, I will be giving up my first love: cheese! I will also be walking 60km every week (minimum) and updating you all on twitter.
Any donations would be amazing and will help change so many lives.
