To celebrate his 40th birthday Sam is recruiting 40 fundraisers who will all be asked to raise a minimum of £500 towards an overall total of £20,000! All are welcome and you can raise funds in anyway you like!

Story

Sam Perkins was diagnosed with MND at the age of just 37. Sam and his wife Emma responded to this devastating news by establishing the charity Stand Against MND in 2019, with the aim of funding MND research and supporting patients and their families in need of palliative care.

50% of MND patients pass away with two years of their diagnosis and so to celebrate his 40th birthday Sam decided to recruit 40 people (or groups) who would all commit to raising £500 each over the next 12 months. Collectively, We aim to raise at least £20,000 for Stand Against MND before Sam's 41st birthday

I aim to undertake four fitness challenges this year to help raise money for MND!

Challenge 1 - 24 Hour Spin Bike Challenge. In a group of four people we will cycle for 24 hours. This will equate to 6 hours each over the 24 hour periodat witness the fitness training studio

Challenge 2 - 4x4x4 - To run 4 miles, every 4 hours, For 48 hours!

Challenge 3 - Sparton Race! 13 Mile obstacle course run!

Challenge 4 - Hyrox Event London! An event full of runs and exercises that I aim to achieve UNDER a time of 1 hour 25 minutes!
