Story

On 21st January 2015, we sadly lost our beautiful and darling son, Kian. He was so perfect, a happy little boy who until 2015, had lived a perfectly healthy life. In January 2015, he suddenly became very ill and we were admitted from Musgrove Park Hospital to The Bristol Children's Hospital.  Whilst we were there, doctors and nurses fought and saved his life on two occasions. He was then put onto a life support machine and underwent so many tests and procedures. Despite this, he was so brave.

Please help us in fundraising for this amazing charity in hope to one day find a cure!!

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting. Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
