Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity exists solely to support the work of the Children’s Cancer and Haematology Unit (CCHU) at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children (RBHSC) and their families.

My Son, Adam was diagnosed with a rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) in January 2022.  As part of Adam's treatment protocol he had to undergo chemotherapy at the CCHU.  Having witnessed the work of all the Doctor's, Nurses, Play staff, Physio's ..the list goes on, we would like to acknowledge their efforts by fundraising to give back to the wonderful team at the CCHU and to provide the children fighting every day with the support that they require.

My Brother-in-Law Ryan Greene, owner of South Paw Boxing Gym, Lurgan is putting on a Fight Night, called Adam's Strength in the Seagoe Hotel, Portadown at 7PM on Saturday 1st October 2022 (Tickets £20).  Proceeds from this event will be donated to The Children's Cancer Unit Charity.   As well as the proceeds from the night, Ryan and I thought it would be beneficial to set up a JustGiving page to give everyone a chance to support the fight night fundraising event.  Every donation helps!

Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Joanne Martin and Ryan Greene.
