Story
Scott “Shreds” Morrison was a very good friend of mine, he
was always there for me through good and bad times, making me hysterically laugh by leaving me voicemails of a crude nature and renaming me Jade Goody. A lively, thoughtful and inspiring young man, who tragically lost his fight for life on 7th June 2014 at the age of just 33, following an incident earlier in the year. This left his loving family and heaps of friends devastated.
Headway provided a lot of support to Scott and his family whilst he was in hospital for over 10 weeks and beyond. His family have done a
lot of fundraising for Headway since then, which shows just how helpful they were to them at the time and after. They have also given me the go ahead to do this in his name – thank you!
So Kate O’Callaghan and I will be completing 30 spin classes in the month of February, lasting from 30-45 minutes each class. Due to
weekends away that were previously planned, this mean we are often doing 2 a day and sometimes 3. Ugh! We will be taking part at PureGym in Bristol – come along and join or laugh at us if you like?
Oh god why oh why did we decide to do Spin . . . I seriously dislike it, however, it’s for a great cause and Shreds would be wetting himself seeing me sweating out!
Please donate what you can so Headway can relieve some of the pain for other head trauma patients and their families.
