We support women and challenge stigma to raise awareness of childbirth injuries

Story

On Saturday 12th March I shall be completing the ‘OARSOME CHALLENGE’, rowing 33km on a rowing machine - the distance of the English Channel.

I’m supporting my friend Fiona who will be rowing beside me. Together we are rowing in memory of Jane, Fiona’s beloved sister, a keen rower and sportswoman and in Jane’s words, ‘For the love of the challenge’.  Fiona and Jane had joked about rowing the channel so I’m helping Fiona fulfil her legacy to Jane.

I shall be fund raising for a charity that means a lot to me, The MASIC Foundation who supports women who have suffered serious injuries during childbirth.
