October 2017 I was lucky enough to be chosen, along with 40 other colleagues from Santander to go to a remote village in Nepal where we helped to build a school.  It was a fantastic experience, just to see the excitement as the children saw that they were getting a school that was earthquake proof and a really great environment to learn. 

We found out that some children are unable to attend school as their families are too poor and they can't afford uniforms.  In November 2017 we set up two Regional Just Giving Pages and raised approximately £2000.00 by the end of 2018.

As a Region in 2019 we approached The Pahar Trust and asked if there was anything specific they needed help with, they need funds for another school build.

The Pahar Trust is a fantastic charity doing great work to help children receive the education they deserve in safe surroundings.

2020 will see the teams undertake lots of different fund raising events, please donate if you can.
