Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mrs Lisbeth (Betty) White passed away peacefully in her sleep
on Monday 11th September, at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Born in
Sheffield, Betty was brought up in Dronfield and lived there all her life, she had a twin sister Mary, who passed away in 2011
.
Married to her husband Maurice in 1952, they lived nearly all their married lives together on Appletree Drive, until Maurice’s passing in January 2011. Betty attended Dronfield School and had several jobs in the Dronfield area, taking a “career break” to bring up 2 children, before returning to fulltime employment.
Following her retirement Betty undertook 17 years of voluntary work at
Chesterfield Royal Hospital. A lifelong and enthusiastic member of the
congregation of St John the Baptist Church in Dronfield, Betty was a lovingmMother to Jane and Tim, and a wonderful “Nanan” to her 4 Grandchildren, James, Jessica, Elizabeth and Daniel. She will be sadly missed by all.  Betty's wishes were family flowers only please and all donations to Kidney Care UK. Betty was a long term kidney dialysis patient.
