Hello,
The Story so far
In 2003 I began making hand-crafted birthday cards which soon increased to cards for almost every occasion. I still charge £1 for each one, Christmas cards are a bit cheaper. 😀
Locally I am often referred to as the WaterAid lady!

That is an absolutely fantastic achievement - massively well done! Especially as these a such difficult times. Please do pass our thanks to all those who have so kindly contributed.
You really are bringing essential clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to many vulnerable communities. This is so important as simple things like handwashing facilities can have a huge impact, especially where there is little or no healthcare infrastructure. You are changing the lives of real people.
Just to let you know, from now until 4 February the UK government are matching donations made to our Tap into the Future appeal as part of their AidMatch scheme - so new donations will be doubled! All you need to do is let those contributing know that this is the case and make the donation via the website as usual.
This appeal features a community in Frat, Ethiopia, and our website shares their own personal stories and some great insight into their characters how the community knits together.
