New year! New Challenge!

Hopefully, most of you will remember that in 2019 I was given the chance to be part of the The Odyssey Project - a one week residential course for people with, or living with cancer. During the week away we were invited to take part in a number of challenges that often were demanding  but at the same time you knew you were in safe, caring & supportive hands.

8 weeks later I then chose to take part in another adventure, one I had always dreamed about, and that was to go on a canoe expedition.

The expedition was in Sweden, where we canoed for 5 days and wild camped! The expedition was very tough in lots of ways but also great fun… some of the time!

I am so grateful I was fit enough to take part in the Sweden trip as the treatment for cancer had had quite an effect on my physical well-being but I was even more grateful for the amazing donations you gave to Odyssey.

So this year, I have chosen for my next adventure to be part of Odyssey’s fundraising expedition to canoe the great glen in Scotland. All funds raised by this challenge will go towards providing others living with cancer, the chance to participate in the Odyssey Project. Alix has asked to join me in the challenge, which I am so excited about. We lasted completed a sponsored event together back in May 2010, when we did the 26mile moonwalk.
