Story
Sadly, 22 years ago my father, Selwyn, passed away. One of the greatest lessons he taught me was that we are responsible to care and support others. I thought it was appropriate then that I would try and remember him by raising £4000 to support others. So if you are coming to us for a meal, please don't bring a gift and instead we would so appreciate a donation to this charity instead.
Jewish care are an incredible charity whose 70 centres and services care for over 7000 members of the community every week including:
- Older people
- People with mental health needs
- Holocaust survivors
- People with dementia
- People who care for others who have a variety of needs – e.g. mental health, older people, people with disabilities
- People with MS, Parkinson’s, strokes and those who are visually impaired
- People who are bereaved and those recently separated
If you could donate just a small amount to support this incredible charity I would be extremely grateful.
