Obviously we could be accused of just being eight blokes wanting to get dressed up in Lycra and go on a bit of a bike ride on the wrong side of the road  .... however, this is just a bonus and the real reason is that we get to do some good for charity

The size of challenge we face is however considerable … each team member will have to do ~45mls on each day of the consecutive 3 day challenge ...  and at our time in life (except for young whippersnapper Adam of course) we feel a challenge of this magnitude really does deserve your support

To take part in the event the participants are required to fund their own travel costs and thus all donations will be going to good causes … 1/3 of the money we raise will go to the extramile nominated charities, and 2/3 will go our chosen charities: Transaid (www.transaid .org) who “tackle poverty and disadvantage by building transport skills and knowledge in the developing world” (obviously our choice here is related to our own business activities); Errwood Ladies Crown Green Bowling Club Pavillion; and Cancer Research UK.
