Story
On April 12th 2016 our beloved father Jeremy Geelan passed away peacefully, just a few days shy of his 59th birthday. For the last five years he had been battling pancreatic cancer. While we are eternally grateful for all the joyful, loving and poetic moments we shared during the time he was ill, we would like to do our part to help raise awareness of this disease and ultimately reduce the number of people afflicted.
Just a few months ago my brother Christian and I managed to raise over £1200 for Pancreatic Cancer UK in combination with running our first ever half-marathon in North London as our father's early birthday present. Jeremy always had an incredible passion for running, and it is one which we now share as a family.
Moving forward we would like to continue to come together and remember our father, while at the same time doing events to help increase awareness of Pancreatic Cancer and raise money for medical research. For those of you who are unable to join us in one of the many events that we will strive participate in en famille, we would like to encourage you to donate to this worthy cause. It is one of the many ways in which we can continue to honour his memory.
