Our Mum and Nana, Jenny, passed away on 27 December 2022 surrounded by her children and eldest granddaughter.

Mum had a number of ailments which could not be treated and the last few weeks of her life were spent on Graham Ward in Homerton Hospital.  Our family would like to thank everyone at Homerton Hospital and, in particular, the staff on Graham Ward who cared so wonderfully for Mum.  They treated her with grace and dignity despite Mum being very challenging on occasion!  They also treated us with kindness and compassion especially over the last few days when we knew that Mum would be saying her final farewell.

Whilst we cannot donate directly to Graham Ward, we can say thank you by donating to the hospital's charity, Homerton Hope, which provides additional support to various departments within the hospital but, in particular, the Elderly Care Unit.

Mum's funeral is taking place on Monday 23 January.  In lieu of flowers we welcome donations to Homerton Hope instead.
