Story
Dear Family and Friends,
God bless you all for your acts of kindness and expressions of sympathy in our great loss. We sincerely appreciate the token of love you have provided and this means so much to our family. Whatever compassion you have extended in our time of bereavement we accept wholeheartedly, with sincere gratitude and thankfulness.
As mum has requested to be cremated we ask that rather spend money on flowers and wreaths we will donate money to a charity close to mums heart, the ACLT charity as she was a regular blood donor.
ACLT was founded in 1996 by Beverley De-Gale, OBE, and Orin Lewis, OBE, 3 years after receiving the devastating news that their 6-year-old son Daniel De-Gale needed a stem cell transplant in order to win his 6-year battle against acute leukaemia.
ACLT is a 40+ time award-winning charity committed to providing hope to patients living with blood cancer and illnesses where a matched donor (stem cell, blood or organ) is required to save a life. Our work is driven by a belief that no one should die waiting for a donor to become available.
Through our work, we improve the odds of finding matches by registering potential donors en masse from all ethnicities, with a focus on donors from the African and Caribbean communities.

Please note we will also have collection boxes at the church, crematorium and the wake at the Shiloh Hall.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated by the charity and will help aid and fund their continually good work.
