On Saturday April 23rd I will be abseiling the Finnieston Crane which is 50m high to help raise money for The Beatson Pebble Appeal.  Having already raised £8.2 million towards a new cancer research facility they are well on their way to the £10 million target.

The Beatson Translational Research Centre (the Beatson TRC) will convert basic cancer research into real improvements in treatments for patients. It will focus upon especially common tumours, those that cause the most deaths in Scotland, such as endocrine (breast, prostate and ovarian); smoking related (lung, throat, oral) and gastrointestinal cancer.

Cancer is affecting too many people and I want to help make a difference.
