Amy was born on 10th August 1927, and is celebrating her
90th birthday with a party for friends and family.  She is a loving and dedicated wife and mother of four, and has six granddaughters.

She has always been a keen gardener, creates wonderful quilts and other textile art, loves music, literature and poetry, still sails her 12' Lymington Skow, and will always be a teacher - it is in her blood, after all.

Amy's kindness and generosity of spirit means she is greatly loved by her family and many friends, and this is illustrated once again by her wish to celebrate her birthday with donations to very worthy causes including EIA.
