Story
June 19th is my 70th Birthday, one I feel am blessed to reach in the current circumstances. As most of you
know my Mother has been resident in the Albert Edward Prince of Wales home in Porthcawl for the past three years. As they are a registered charity, the month of June is usually the time when they hold their annual charity event called the “Strawberry Fayre”, but this year it was not possible as the home, like everyone else, is in lockdown. I would appreciate your support to be able to help the home purchase something they need for the residents, a lot of whom, like my Mother have dementia. I cannot thank all the staff for the love and
care they give to all their residents and the support to family members who have not been able to see their loved ones for the past 10 weeks. Thank you for making my birthday special and supporting my Mum and all the other the residents at the Albert Edward care home.
