Story
Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
I work as a canine behaviourist and trainer within east Yorkshire and like everyone around the world like now COVID-19 is affecting my life, livelihood and future.
We will recover, as individuals, as businesses and as a country.
But a sector that is really struggling right now is the charity sector. Without regular fundraisers, donations and summer events charities are struggling animal charities especially who have a mountain of costs to continue to care for the animals in their care.
That is why I am organising this sponsored head shave for Jerry Green Dog Rescue (charity number 1155042).
Despite Covid-19 shutting down the rest of the world charities like Jerry Green still have outgoings to cover. Jerry Green Dog Rescue still need to pay their staff wages, dog feed bills, dog treatment costs, vet bills and more. They estimate the lack of fundraisers and big spring/summer events will see them loosing over £16,000 in donations which if social distancing continues throughout 2020 could see that number skyrocket while their outgoing costs continue to rise.
I am a big supporter of small businesses and charities.
I am a big believer if everyone gave just £1.00 together we can make the world of difference.
I have helped organise donation collections for Jerry Green in the past as well as supported them in other ways but right now when they really need some help I feel COVID-19 is preventing me from helping them. But this is something I can do and we can do together to support a wonderful dog rescue to help them continue to provide 5* care for dogs in need of a second chance at a happy life.
Please donate what you can and even if you can’t donate (don’t worry I have been there with not a penny to my name but wanting to help change the world) you can still help by sharing this with your friends and family.
Thank you so much for reading this and thank you so much for any donations, support, well wishes and shares.
Stay safe, together we are stronger.
