Im going to shine the night away by walking the Full Marathon on Saturday 28th September. Each step I take will help save lives and this is where I need YOU to SHINE too! by kindly digging deep and sponsor me.

Not a day goes by without seeing or hearing the word 'Cancer' its all around us - posters up at tube stations, in magazines & newspaper's, on the tv & sadly we all have close friends and family that have been affected by the deadly disease. These are my reasons for 'WALKING ALL OVER CANCER' I want to shine the night away with friends and help raise money for all cancers.

Amazing people like you can help support Cancer Research UK’s research to get new treatments to patients faster. 

Research kills cancer:

Shine funds translational research, which helps turn breakthroughs in the lab into breakthroughs in our hospitals. The money we raise will help research new treatments for cancer and get better treatments to patients faster. 

Did you know:

£247 can fund one man to take part in a study looking at potential screening tests for prostrate cancer.

£350 can pay for a child to have a state-of the art brain scan, as part of our clinical trials.

£677 could fund one person on a clinical trial to see if chememotherapy before and after surgery, combined with a new drug Vectibix, can save more lives from bowel cancer.

United we are stronger than cancer

We all at sometime or another in our lifetime will have used the care and support of the medical proffession and this is our chance to help and support those who would be in need of medical attention.
