Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 15th September 2010 together with my colleague and good friend Laura, I will be travelling to Tanzania in Africa to climb the world's tallest, free-standing mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro!

We both work for Quarriers, in their Chavey Down project.  Chavey Down is a respite unit for young people aged 0-18 years who have learning difficulties/disabilities. Chavey Down supports young people to become more independent and learn life skills while giving their parents and carers a well earned break.

Please support us to raise enough money to create a sensory garden within Chavey Down for the young people to use during their visits.

A sensory garden will be a place where the young people can relax and have fun, try new activites and experiences and play with their friends in a safe and stimulating environment.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
