Story
Not many of you will know but I lost my beloved dog, Tiger, to cancer on the 31st May 2020 at the age of 10 years and 9 months (and 3 days). He fought so hard but in the end, cancer won so I had to put my buddy down as he started having seizures. Until Tiger had cancer, I didn't know that around 50% of large breed dogs get cancer after the age of 10 and reading some of the stories online, it broke my heart! I wanted to help but unfortunately, I'm not a cancer researcher so all I can do is try help in another way the charity that helps dogs with cancer.
You're probably wondering what I can possibly do during this lock down to help raise money; well people who know me know how much I love my long hair so in return for your lovely sponsors, I will be cutting around 45 cm of my hair. The hair itself will be sent to the charity 'Little Princess Trust' where it will be used to make a wig for a little angel also fighting cancer.
I am planning to get my hair appointment in the diary for late July as I know it's going to be near to impossible to get something in once all hairdressers open on the 4th July. I will be uploading a photo of my hair before and after the big chop!
Thank you all so much in advance for your kind gestures! I'm sure Tiger and the little angel receiving the wig will greatly appreciate it!
