I was diagnosed with breast cancer just as covid hit us all in March 2020. As soon as  I was diagnosed I was given a large pink paper bag with 2 heart shape cushions which were made by the lovely ladies at Bosom Friends. The cushions are the perfect shape for under the arm after breast surgery and every woman in bradford who is diagnosed receives a gift of these cushions.

Their annual fashion show is their biggest fundraising event and this will be the first one since 2020 and although I’m really nervous I’m pleased I can take part and say thank you for all the support they have given me.
