Story
I didn't feel like London was home until I started to volunteer at the Winch. Every Wednesday I spent two hours on the floor playing with babies and talking with mums from all over the world. We shared our struggles and joys of being mothers and created connections between similar experiences. The Winch has become my family with my own so far away. I think we all feel that way.
We can't come together in the same way as before COVID, but the need to hold those connections tight is even greater at this time, particularly for the children, young people and families who rely on the Winch for support.
The Winch Monster Dash is a fun way to raise awareness of the work of the Winch as well as raise funds vital for its mission: The promise of support for each child from cradle to career.
Please help me meet my target.
