Story

Every year in the summer there is a very small window of time when people are allowed to climb to the summit of Mount Fuji, Japan's highest mountain, at 3776M (12,388 feet)! Thousands of people climb Fuji every year, but for me this is a once in a lifetime chance to do something amazing! Plans for this have come together very quickly, in fact from today (when I've created this page!) there are only 10 days to go before I start my climb!

I felt like this unique experience could be used to honour a unique person, my grandma Juju, who loved Japan as much as I did and know would think this is really really cool. She sadly passed away a year ago, but if it wasn't for the amazing help we received from Rowcroft Hospice we would never have been able to care for her like we did, so I want anything I raise to go to Rowcroft, so they can continue to support families in an amazing way.
