Story
NAWT Bedfordshire offers a lifeline to hundreds of homeless animals but now the rehoming centre needs a lifeline of its own, and we desperately need your help. The animal accommodation, most of which has been in place for the last 50 years, is slowly falling apart. Without significant investment to install new accommodation, the centre will reach a point where it is no longer able to help homeless and abandoned animals like Harley, an 8-month-old Rottweiler cross, who experienced a very tough start to life. He was living in sheltered accommodation when NAWT rescued him, with an owner who was also homeless. Harley's owner was facing his own struggles and would sadly take his anger and frustration out on Harley. Harley was scared, hungry, dirty and desperate for someone to help him. Harley is safe at NAWT now but we need to act immediately if we're going to continue helping animals like Harley enjoy brighter days ahead.
I will be shaving my hair to a grade 4 on September 1st 2022 and donating my hair to ‘The Little Princess Trust’ which is a charity that creates wigs from real hair for children.
