Hello everyone

I have signed up to do a 50K (about 31 miles) bike ride on Sunday 13th September in aid of Farleigh Hospice. I will be cycling with my friend Kerry whose father was cared for by Farleigh a few years ago.

As you know I am not normally the cycling type but I am up for the challenge!

I am hoping that the flat plains of Essex will be kinder to me than the Yorkshire hills I cycled as a child and if i make it will be signing up for the "tour de France" next year ;-)
