In June 2018, I travelled to Tanzania as part of Friends of Africa, and this summer I am returning to Tanzania as a group leader along with 11 others. During the four weeks, we will be running a camp for children from the local parishes  to both improve their spoken English skills and empower them to take on the challenges they are likely to face in life.  

The motto for FOA is ‘small steps together’ and so all donations no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated and can help to make a huge difference to the lives of others. This money does not go toward flights or my personal costs - it goes directly into funding Friends of Africa's projects across the continent in order to have the most impact at a local level.
