Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGivingpage
This is Jayla’s story. Jayla from Cardiff was born a twin at 27 weeks premature. At the age of 3 the twins were both diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Jayla has quadriplegia spastic cerebral palsy with means when the muscles are weak and stiff Jayla is able to walk but not very far and falls often. She can not ride a bike or dress herself and if you ask her what she wants she will tell you new legs so she can do what little girls do.
Jayla have now had selective dorsal rhizotomy (sdr) operation will reduce the messages from the muscles resulting in better balance of activities of nerve cells in spinal cord, thus reducing spasticity. Without this operation Jayla’s mobility would get progressively worse so by having this operation it will give her a better future and quality of life. With 100% in the operation of all we are looking for now is after-care to Pro long do Jayla a dream of riding her own bike CAN ANY BODY HELP OUT WITH A TRIKE FOR JAYLA 😊
Bristol Gave the official go ahead on the 29/01/16 but we will need to fundraise immediately forTree of Hope as the nhs does not cover costs like physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and specialised equipment.
We are no looking for some one to help make Jayla dream come true by making her own trike please make this happen and allow her to have her dream come true 😍
With Jayla doing fantastic with the aftercare she is receiving we will also be giving Jayla an out door safe play area with her garden being totally levelled and artificial grass fitted so if she falls she can not hurt herself
Jaylas has been going to hydro for months now and loves it. She is using mussels that she have never used before 😀 you can see the difference and her walking is so much better 😆 we are now looking to buy a hydro/spa pool for her to enjoy at home help make this happen as the changes are unreal
