Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Jan passed away on the 31st January 2018 after a 12 year illness suffering from PCA (Posterior Corticle Atrophy) She was just 59 years old.  Research into this dreadful illness is only supported by fundraising. Her family and friends celebrated the life of this very special lady at her funeral on the 21st February, 2018 and are appealing for donations to support the National Brain Appeal.

Jan's husband Nick completed the Coast to Coast walk from St. Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay on the Yorkshire coast in early July in support of the fund raising - this page will remain open for the time being and further donations will be most welcome.

A year on from Nick's coast to coast walk, Nick and Jan's son Andy is running the Leamington Spa half marathon. Any future donations to support Andy and add to our fund raising to support rare dementia research would be much appreciated.
