On Saturday 22nd September 2012 I will be taking part in a Parachute Jump to raise money and awareness for a charity close our family's hearts. First Steps Playgroup is a registered charity for children in West Lothian with additional needs. My friends twin boys Ross & Andrew have been attending since they were 1 year old, giving them the opportunity to attend a playgroup that can provide a suitable environment with specialist equipment. This has been instrumental to both their development and I want to make sure that the playgroup can continue to provide this support to other children in my community. I am also doing the 5K BUPA Run in October, but don't worry I will only be asking you for money once - you could say you're getting 2 for 1 - not bad for someone close to 60 ha ha!!! Thank you all in advance for your support. My daughters Sharlene Boyd & Jacqueline Souter are also doing the 5K Run with me on behalf of First Steps Playgroup.
