Back in 2015 we were on holiday in Disneyworld, and saw many children there who had cancer.  Katie was very moved by this and wanted to do something to help.  For the last 20 months she has been growing her hair, and will be having at least 17cm cut off on the 6th August, to donate to a charity that specialises in making wigs for children suffering from cancer.

Sadly, Katie's Great Uncle Alistair passed away this week, after a short but brave battle against cancer, and she would like to raise sponsorship money for her haircut, in his memory.  This will be donated to the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, which provided such fantastic care to Alistair and the family.
