Nobody understands the seriousness of Duchenne but this disease will kill our baby if we don't find a cure!! At present DUCHENNE is 100% fatal and no one has ever survied it. I need that to change for my baby. Take a moment imagine your child was terminally ill wouldn't you do all you could to change it. 

Alfie is 10 years old and most Doctors did not expect him to live to see his 20s if he was lucky.  Alfie though, continues to prove them wrong since receiving his treatments.

For the last 3 years the Fight-For-Alfie charity have raised funds for Alfies treatments and his special needs that are part and parcel for those boys with DMD.

Alfie has responded well to these treatments, amazing actually and this is why we cannot stop these infusions. Our fight against the monster is well and truly on,  WE CANT STOP AND WONT STOP TILL WE FIX OUR BABY. 0Alfie inspires us everyday to keep going. He shows us through his determination and fight that anything is possible. He inspires other Duchenne boys from all around the world that there is HOPE.

These treatments are expensive and each year it costs over £40k to keep his body better prepared to fight this cruel disease that is trying to take our baby away.
