Story
PLEASE NOTE - THE RAFFLE HAS NOW TAKEN PLACE. YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO CONTINUE DONATING HERE, BUT I CANNOT ADD YOU TO THE DRAW.
After seeing the recent stories in the news about the risks, pressure and stress our NHS staff are under, I felt I would like to do something to raise some funds.
Following my recent Facebook post, it became very obvious how much and how many people value our outdoor space and the beauty of Cornwall! If a fraction of people buy a ticket as shared the post, we might raise a few quid . . .
I am holding a raffle for a Limited Edition Print of your choice (ANY PRINT) - so this time to include all classic yachting and Falmouth working boat prints too and where possible it will be an ‘Artists Proof ’ (one of ten) - go to my website to see all examples - www.jamiemedlin.com/artwork-gallery
Print prices normally range from £70 - £250 so hopefully a worthwhile prize . . .
Tickets will be £5.00 each. Would love you all to buy one ticket, but feel free to buy as many as you like (each £5.00 donation is a ticket in the draw - the more you donate, the more chances you have).
. . . with ALL FUNDS going direct to the charity.
The winner will be drawn out of a hat on a date to be decided (will notify everyone through my Facebook pages). You will need to add your name to your donation so I can add your name to the draw, as I believe there is an option to be anonymous . . .
If you were considering donating to our amazing NHS staff anyway, here is a chance to get something back and donate. These people are putting their lives and their families lives at risk for everyone . . . .
Imagine going to your place of work (not wondering) but knowing this horrible virus is present . . . . I wouldn't like it . . .
If we all heed the advice we can get out there sooner rather than later!
Stay safe everyone!!
From the Trust
As the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust staff work tirelessly to care for Covid 19 patients in Cornwall in the coming weeks and months we know that YOU want to show your support.
Teams will work long arduous hours, putting themselves on the front-line as they care for our friends, family and loved ones. Many will spend time away from their own families to protect them from the infection and many we know will become ill themselves.
We are in this together as a global nation and as the county of Cornwall. Our teams are caring for your friends, family and loved ones. The Covid19 Fund, part of Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity will support the welfare of our teams.
Funds will be used to... help provide them with refreshment and nourishment in this difficult time, provide rest areas, create welfare packs for those unable to return home, give special to thanks to team members, facilitate onsite shops so that our staff can easily access basic provisions
