For those of you who knew my Mum I'm sure you'll agree she was a loving, caring person who would always bring a smile to your face with her great sense of humour. Having bravely fought cancer for many months the illness sadly took her away from us. Just over two and a half years on not a day goes by without her in my thoughts and she will always have an important place in my heart.

The Rowans Hospice took good care of my Mum in her final days, making them as comfortable and pain free as possible before the angels came to take her away. They also provided comfort and support for family and loved ones which was also of great help & very much appreciated.

Over the past two years a couple of close friends have also received the same care from The Rowans Hospice along with hundreds of others. To provide all these essential services they need to raise £11,000 a day and to do this they rely almost entirely on the generosity of the public.
