Story
It is hard to talk about James in the past tense. He was a devoted family man, hard working professional, a loyal friend, full of energy and with a zest for life.
Those of us who knew him well will always remember him smiling, happy and ready to face life’s challenges with optimism.
James was diagnosed with Progressive Super Nuclear Palsy in 2016, a rare neurological illness that slowly robs a person of their ability to communicate, physically function and be independent.
There are only around 4,000 people living with PSP in the UK at any one time.
James joined the PSP association contributing to their charitable efforts and research programmes into causes and treatment of this rare neurological illness.
The PSPA charity offers support and information to sufferers during a difficult time and funds research into treatments and to ultimately find a cure.
We'd like to extend our appreciation to the PSPA and invite you to make a donation in James's memory and support the charity to continue helping others affected by this disease.
