Story

5691 people took their own lives in the UK in 2019, three quarters of which were men. As a group, we will each be running 5.691km every day for the month of November in honour of this. This will total 170.73km (106 miles) over the month. It'll be cold, dark, and miserable, however so are the final hours of too many in the UK. We will push through and prevail, and we hope that with our help Beder will enable more to do the same.

Beder is a new charity actively supporting mental health issues by providing events and tools for dealing with issues, and raising money for other charities like Samaritans.

Hopefully we can all continue to tackle the stigma surrounding mental health. As it's Movember, I'll also be dying my moustache the voted colour, wouldn't want to disappoint.
