I'm joining 19 of my Superdrug colleagues taking on the Great North Run on 10th September 2017 for Marie curie. Superdrug has supported Marie Curie since 2013 and so far has raised an incredible £2.7 million to fund over 135,000 hours of vital nursing care. 

In 2004 my father passed away from Pancreatic Cancer - one of the cruellest and swift cancers. My Father was diagnosed with this cancer while he was working for Marie Curie collecting charitable donations from houses and died only 6 months later. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of any cancer and the nurses who provided care for my Father in his last days at home made those final days more comfortable.
