Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It is a sobering thought that this year I turn the same age (55) as my mum Stephanie was when she was taken from us way before her time. Soon after her diagnosis she helped form the Walsall Breast Cancer Support Group as no tangible support was available at the time and she was a driving force in this group until she passed (and my dad George remained a member of the group for nearly 30 years after that!).

So why have I formed this page? Well, I have been cast in The Addams Family comedy musical as Uncle Fester (the bald one for those not familiar with the show) and, although a bald cap was an option, I thought why not brave the shave for charity. What better charity could I have thought of to show a bit of solidarity to those loosing their hair through chemotherapy (and mum used to love coming to see me in plays as a teenager).
