Story

H&K Cycle Club, with your support has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes all over the world through our annual 3 Cities Challenge over the years.

This will be the 9th annual 3 Cities Challenge and I will be part of a team of 26 cyclists who will start off from Sarajevo in Bosnia and cycle to Nis in Serbia, finishing the ride in Sofia in Bulgaria. Cataracts are the leading cause of reversible blindness worldwide. We aim to provide life changing cataract surgery to the Under privilaged in Bangladesh through BHDI. A cataract is a medical condition in which the lens of the eye becomes progressively opaque, resulting in blurred vision. Surgery replaces the defective lens with an artificial lens, thereby restoring the vision of the patient.

For just £50 we can provide cataract surgery to a patient in Bangladesh, including pre-operative assessment and post-operative care with provision of spectacles if needed. This project is Zakat & Sadaqah applicable. 100% donation policy.
