Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On March 13th I will be running my third half marathon to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust - 3 years to the day after I was diagnosed with Sarcoma.
Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that affects soft tissue, muscles and nerves. There are over 50 types of sarcoma and its more common in children and young adults however affects adults also.
I know I have asked for sponsors many times since my diagnosis but please sponsor me again - even if it is £1 as it all adds up and the work TCT do for those who need it at such a dark point in their life can make such a difference!
When I was diagnosed in 2013 I was 23 and classed as a young adult - I was treated on an adult ward. Everyone was so much older than me and I felt alone. The units TCT provide with the money raised make such a difference as those diagnosed are treated with others that are a similar age - lifelong friendships can be created which can make it that little bit less scary.
